Cabramatta and Darling Harbour

Here’s how we spent our second full in Sydney (March 10th), but you may not be too interested since the covid-19 is hitting the fan back home (schools, day cares closed).

We were a bit worn out from all the walking the day before, so took it easy in the morning. Then we got on the train to Cabramatta, or “Cabra” as they call it here, and had a good view of the suburbs west of Sydney en route.

A few of the local monuments…

And the food…

There are several local fresh fruit, veg and fish stands.

We took the train back, then went to Grandma’s, another of Syd’s many underground bars.

And here’s a random shot of a Sydney payphone.

Hope things aren’t too crazy back home. There have been impacts here, like large sporting and event cancellations, but it seems people are still out and about, doing their normal thing.

Nice pics and story Maryl! Tell Phil he looks good and maybe should get a pic of you in there too! I hope you’re both taking care not to catch the virus!
    Enjoy your trip and visit!
