A Few Last Thoughts on Provo

We’re in Samaná – we arrived yesterday morning earlier than we’d estimated. It’s BEAUTIFUL here!

We have so much to tell you about our time in the Dominican Republic, but I feel like I haven’t done our stay in TCI justice. Most of our photos from Provo are still trapped in the melted down laptop, so I haven’t shown you much of our Providenciales experience (actually, we did a lot of boat jobs while we were there, so maybe you’re not missing that much).

But here are a few pics we took in the days before we left.

The feral dog population in the Bahamas and TCI are known as “Potcakes” – we made some potcake pals at Long Bay Beach the day we visited.

Janet took us under her wing and showed us a few of the sights on Provo we missed while we were here. “The Hole” is, well, a hole very near her place. Here’s the sign on the road; easy to miss – we would never have seen it had Janet not taken us there.

Sundays at Bugaloo’s are great – live music, family fun on the beach, happy people having a good time; this could easily have become a weekly tradition for us, had we stayed longer in Provo.

We miss you TCI!

Hi Roxanne! Thanks for reading. Phill’s really missing the ice fishing this year – it’s one of the few things that’ll make returning to the frozen north next year not so bad…
