Bahamas, Here We Come (again)

Seeing as we have to get back to work in a just a few short months, it’s time to turn this rig around.

We’ll be leaving today and hope to get to Long Island, Bahamas (or thereabouts) in five to seven days, depending on the wind. The weather looks good and we’ve fixed the things that decided to break on us here in the BVI, the most critical of which was the engine’s raw water pump ($600 for the parts – ouch!).

We have lots of options for stopping earlier than Long Island if we’re not having fun, and we’ll check-in with the SPOT* often.

Talk to you in a week (hopefully less) – we have lots to catch-up on!

(* There is sometimes a delay of up to several hours after we actually check-in and when the Where’s Water Music page gets updated.)

We met at Road Town, BVI, my boat is Cipango and we were neighbours for a couple of days. I confirm the pleasure and the comfort to be in Puerto Real.
    Have a good trip

Hi Maurice – nice to hear from you! Puerto Real is a great stop. If you work your way north this summer, be sure to let us know when you’re near Kingston, Onatrio. Who knows, maybe we’ll cross paths again on the way.

      Safe travels,

      Phill & Maryl
