Stickin’ to the Point

We’re still in Black Point Settlement…stickin’ to the point, you might say.

We like it here. We think we might move on tomorrow, but we’ll see.

Here are a few more photos from our visit…

We’re heading to Staniel Cay tomorrow…we think.

Update (01-May-2013): We couldn’t leave Black Point without actually doing some laundry at the Roackside Laundramat. Maybe you’re thinking okay, enough about the laudramat already, but we’ve seen some awful laundramats on this trip – the worst probably in Manhattan, NY, where we paid triple the Rockside price and ended up having to dry everything on a line.

Bright & airy…lots of windows, great view.

I just had to give Ida & her fantastic facility big kudos because this is the best cruiser’s laundramat we’ve seen from Kingston, Ontario to the British Virgin Islands. Hands down. And it can’t be easy or cheap to set up a place like this on so “remote” a location.

Did I mention that they have free wifi, showers and a T.V.?????

Love Black Point, no where near as many boats there as there were when we there and yes most definitely Ida has the best Laundramat on the whole east coast and the Caribbean, and yes we ended up drying our laundry in the boat in Manahattan. Summer is here you can come home now. Launch on Saturday and everyone is happy. Sail safe the next part of your trip.
