Starry Night

We’re anchored in “Hobe Sound”, south of St. Lucie inlet, FL. It’s quiet, we can hear the surf from over the barrier island to the east of us, and it’s clear enough to see the stars.

Our internet do-dad is near dead (squeezing the last bytes out of it now), and the WiFi didn’t improve yesterday, so no new posts. I have a couple of drafts standing by, though, that I look forward to posting when technology permits.

We have many, many bridges with restricted schedules between us and our boat-fixing stop in Ft Lauderdale so we probably won’t get there until Friday. We’ll be spending a week in Ft Lauderdale – at a dock – in a marina – where there is abundant hot water, and electricity, and no dinghy-ing between ship ‘n shore required!.

I understand that the WiFi is good at this marina, so I guess we’ll get caught up then. Lots to tell you about (we’re backed up all the way to Jekyll Island!).

    Hi Maryl and Phil,

    Enjoying everything you write!

The only “laundry” that we’ve seen here (around Collins Bay), are the acres of heavy canvas tarpaulins on all the boats — sad!!

    Thanks for the updates.

    All the best,

    Cheers,

    Jacquie and Peter
